To reach Braddon Estate from the M5, take the A30 dual
carriageway at junction 31, signposted Okehampton, Bodmin, to Stowford
and Dingles Steam Village exit (34 miles). Turn right to Roadford Lake. Cross the dam.
After 4 miles
turn left at T junction (Ivyhouse Cross,
Broadwood school on your left). Then
immediately right (Reservoir Cross). Cross stone bridge at Ashmill,
bearing right up a steep hill signposted Holsworthy. After two miles
turn right into concrete road signposted Braddon and East Venn. Bear
left at fork. Continue past Braddon Cottage, keep right marked BRADDON to BRADDON FARMHOUSE where the owner lives who will show you around the estate.
